Short course training opportunity for Traditional/Alternative medicine healers/sellers and Tradional midwives at MCOHAS on 07th - 11th/12/2020

THE UNITED REPUBLIC OF TANZANIA,
MOROGORO COLLEGE OF HEALTH AND ALLIED SCIENCES (MCOHAS)

TRAINING  OPPORTUNITY FOR TRADITIONAL/ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE HEALERS/SELLERS AND TRADITIONAL MIDWIVES.

Morogoro College of Health and Allied Sciences wishes to conduct short course upgrading training certificate level (level I) for all traditional/alternative medicine healers who are within and outside Morogoro Region.

Venue: Morogoro College of Health and Allied Sciences (MCOHAS).
Participants/trainees: Tradional/Alternative medicine healers/ sellers and tradional midwives.
Topics/Themes: Health policy,Traditional/Alternative Medicine governing Act, Ethics and norms of conduct, Progress in its implementation, arrangement of traditional/alternative medicine services, cleanliness and their mechanism of actions in the body, food and nutrition, quality of traditional/alternative medicine services, preparation of traditional/alternative medicine from raw materials using traditional methods like drying with sunlight.

 

Training requirements and fee: Every participant will have to pay a net amount of TZS 300,000/= which will cover Training materials, breakfast and lunch. The accommodation costs will be paid by trainees themselves.
The training application deadline is 02nd/12/2020 and training is expected to be done on 07th - 11th/12/2020.
Training time: 08:00am - 03:00pm
At the end of the training all participants will be awarded certificates by The Ministry of Health, Community development, Gender, Elderly and Children.
