HESLB: List of 5,168 Batch two first year students allocated TZS 19.9 Billion in the academic year 2020/2021.

Higher Education Students Loans Board (HESLB) inform loans applicants and other stakeholders that it has released batch two list of 5,168 first year students who have been allocated loans of TZS 19.9 billion.

Remember that on November 11, 2020, HESLB announced batch one list of about 47,305 first year students who have been allocated loans of TZS 150.03 billion.

Thus, until yesterday (Tuesday, November 17,2020), a total of 52,473 first year students have been allocated loans of TZS 170.02 billion.

Students are supposed to check their SIPA accounts used during loan application for detailed information about loan status.

For those with mistakes/errors have been allowed to correct them.

Loan applicants whom their  loan applications have got mistakes/errors, HESLB has given them five (05) days from today (Wednesday, November 18,2020) to make online correction of their information.

Thus, from today they can login to their SIPA accounts used during loan application and upload correct documents, HESLB will process them and those with desired qualifications will be allocated loans as soon as possible.

Loan Budget 2020-2021. 

In the year 2020/2021 the Government has allocated TZS 464 billion for loans of 145,000 students.

Among them, 54,000 will be first year students and 91,000 are students continuing with studies.
