New Job vacancy - Senior Human Resource Consultant/Recruiting Expert at Lahmeyer Consulting Engineers (T) Ltd Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

 

Job description

Lahmeyer Consulting Engineers has been shortlisted to submit a Proposal for the Performance Improvement Programme for Dar es Salaam Water and Sanitation Authority (DAWASA) (“The Client”), financed by the International Development Association(IDA) (“The Financier”). 

 

The objective of the assignment is to develop and support DAWASA in implementing a so-called Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). The PIP is required to modernize DAWASA, which will enhance the current development of the utility and abolishment of operational inefficiencies.


The Expert shall be responsible for all tasks as per the principal Contract’s Terms of reference but not limited to:

  • Advising management on the administration of human resources policies and procedures;
  • Analyzing a company’s current HR programs and recommending solutions;
  • Revising and developing HR policies and procedures;
  • Ensuring HR programs and services are in compliance with established policies and procedures and labor laws and regulations;
  • Preparing report inputs to the performance improvement program related to specific HR assignment;
  • Developing a framework to track the development of recommended changes regarding workflow;
  • Developing methods for compiling and analyzing data for recruitment reports;
  • Crafting guidelines for HR audits;
  • Draft manuals for staff performance evaluation and improvement


She/ he must have at least a Masters Degree in HR Management/Human Relations/ Industrial Relations/Human Management Information Systems or related field.

She/ he shall have not less ten (10) years of relevant experience out of which the recent five (5) years must have been in a Senior Management post.

Experience or familiarity with Aruti HR payroll management software.

The expert should preferably have similar previous experience in the United Republic of Tanzania.

The expert should be a Citizen of the United Republic of Tanzania.

Time effort: The project is of four (4) years, the time input for the HRM expert is three (3) calendar month part-time intermittently.
