Job description
Your job as a business development manager is to identify sales leads, pitch goods to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts. We are a new company in the market and require someone mature, experienced and knows how to unlock opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
- Planning and preparing presentations
- Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
- Overseeing the development of company marketing efforts
- Writing sales reports
- Providing management with feedback on market trends
- Training team members in most successful sales approach per product portfolio
- Responsible for identifying tenders and tender bidding process, where applicable
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelors in Business
- Must have proven sales/business development experience in Building Materials or Medical Supplies Set up
- Minimum 5 year’s experience in Sales
- Experience in managing cross-border sales added advantage
- Must have a rich network of connections and clients
