Wanafunzi 2,009 wapangiwa mikopo ya TZS 6.02 bilioni dirisha la rufaa
Higher Education Students Loans Board (HESLB) on 24th December, 2020 informed students of higher Education Institutions that it has released list of 2009 first year students allocated loans of TZS 6.02 billion.
This batch, as it was for other students allocated loans in the previous batches, have been allocated by considering their need and the well checked extra information submitted.
Thus, until now a total of 55,287 first year students have been allocated loans of TZS 179.17 billion in four batches, including the currently announced one. The aim was to allocate loans to about 54,000 first year students for this academic year 2020/2021
" What they are supposed to do now is to visit their SIPA accounts which were used for loans application where they will get detailed information about loan and appeal results", said Executive Director Abdul-Razaq Badru on 24th December, 2020 in Dar es salaam city.
The Government has allocated TZS 464 billion for loans of 145,000 students. Amongst them, first year students were expected to be 54,000 and 91,000 continuing students.
