To support the HSE Manager in delivering an improved safety performance and promoting a positive health and safety culture through implementing, coordinating and maintaining the Health and Safety policies whilst complying with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, we are looking for:

HSE SPECIALIST


ROLE


Regulations Monitoring 

Collects, assess and consolidates product safety data from the raw material supplier by: 

  • requesting all relevant documents
  • evaluating accuracy of content
  • assessing against SICPA standards
  • requesting further information if needed
  • confirmative evaluation that responds to the requirements of SICPA


Maintains & develops regulatory knowledge by:

  • screening regular information provided by service providers to proactively initiate the upcoming regulatory changes
  • requesting specific assessments for the business through service providers
  • keeping up-to-date with national and international regulatory changes on chemicals
  • attending conferences and seminars


Compliance Risk, Recommendation & services

  • Provides recommendations and guidance to minimize risks and costs by evaluating impact on product safety and compliance, and customer specific requirements
  • Contributes to projects/initiatives to improve occupational health conditions, hygiene safety and environmental safety in the company


Audit Inspection and Visit

  • Executes the operational audits and/or HSE safety walks by:
  • following the questionnaire
  • consolidating the result and providing recommendations
  • transferring the report to the Manager


Information Sharing with External Stakeholders

Informs about potential hazards linked to SICPA products or other through safety data sheet and labels by:

  • sending out automatically safety data sheet for major changes
  • sending out updated safety data sheet and labels with following delivery


PROFILE


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field required or Environmental Degree
  • Training in Quality Management, Trade, Health and Safety, Administration, Public health and Knowledge Level of regulatory compliance laws (OSHA) will also be considered
  • Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001)
  • Excellent experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Tools
  • Experience in Supplier Quality Management
  • Experience in Supplier, IMS and Process Audits
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of SPC
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capability to listen and understand others
  • Working effectively with different organizations at multiple levels across CH and geographically-distributed Local Entities
