VACANCY FOR COMMUNITY SOCIAL WORKER

A renowned Social Service group is in search of a professional Community Social worker who can support members with psychological and behavioral disorders including substance misuse. Should be a professional who can support children, families, and young people at macro level.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in psychology
• Excellent interpersonal skills (empathetic and non-judgmental)
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Able to establish effective working relationships
• Organized, able to prioritize work, plan and problem-solve, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• At least 2 -3 years’ experience preferably working with low to middle income earners
• knowledge of Legal Aid framework and Social Service Agencies in Dar es Salaam
