About the IODT
The Institute of Directors in Tanzania is the national director training institute and a leading focus group for corporate leaders in Tanzania. We complement efforts to develop enterprising and ethical leaders through propagating, promoting and enhancing corporate governance as a practice and also an ideal. We empower directors with an influential and common platform and voice.
About The IODT Internship Initiative
We are giving you an opportunity as a graduate to gain experience, improve your CV plus chances of getting employed by working in one of our functional areas for a specified period of time. As an intern you will also substantively contribute to and learn from our work.
Through specific tasks and responsibilities, you will take on challenges and develop competencies. We expect you to be professional, responsible, flexible and to take part in various activities at the office and sometimes in the field.
Requirements
- To apply you will need to have at least a first degree; We especially encourage female and Masters degree applicants. You will be a good fit with us if you are naturally committed, diligent, positive, open-minded, reflective, and willing to learn.
- At any one time we expect to host between two to three interns.
Time Commitment:
The internship will last for 3 months per cycle and up to 3 cycles per year to be mutually agreed and as per the continuous assessment of the intern work, commitment and attitudeConditions:
Internships are on a voluntary basis. However, you will receive a small monthly stipend to help cover some related personal expenses. You are wholly responsible for all costs related to health, accommodation and similar support. Shared office space will be provided. The IODT assumes no liability for any accident, ill health or other misfortune that may occur.

You will also describe what you hope to achieve during your internship and specify your main skills and interests and relate them to your desired thematic areas of our work: Marketing & Sales; Accounts, HR & Administration; Also specify the requested internship period / dates.
