We seek an experienced, passionate teacher to join our friendly Humanities team, offering Cambridge IGCSEs at Key Stage 4; Key Stage 5, Geography at A level. The Geography department is keen to encourage off-site learning and we run multiple field trips every year for students from Key Stage 3 to A Level. Geography is a popular option choice for our students, who are motivated, ambitious and enjoy the challenge of a well-planned and resourced teaching program.
You will be a highly effective, dynamic teacher; a team-player who is able to inspire our wonderful students with a genuine commitment to their academic and personal development. You will have at least 3 years experience and hold a recognised teaching qualification (either a Bachelor of Education or a BA/BSc plus PGCE). Preference will be given to candidates with Cambridge International Examination experience. An ability to teach Geography programmes to post-16 level is a pre-requisite (experience in other Humanities subjects such as IGCSE Global Perspectives would be an advantage).
