JOB TITLE: Business Development Officer – 1 position
Qualifications:
- Must possess a masters or bachelor degree in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness from any reputable higher training institute
- Have any experience in working with farmers and agribusiness projects write ups
- Flexibility, initiative, good communication and commercial awareness
- Willingness to work overtime as required
Duties:
- Providing accurate information and advising farmers about their business
- Document write ups, especially business plans and business proposals
- Participate in making production and marketing plans of the company
- Represent the company in meetings and negotiations
- Train farmers on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) on different crops, especially cereals and horticultural
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the superiors
JOB TITLE: Assistant Farm Manager – 1 position
Qualifications:
- A candidate must be an agricultural technician with the ability to operate farm machinery
- Must possess a valid driving license
- Flexibility, initiative, good communication and commercial awareness
- Willingness to work overtime as required
- At least 1 years of working experience
Duties:
- Assist the farm manager in day to day farm operations
- Operate/maintain and handle all farm machineries
- Plan for effective utilization of both human and capital resources available at the farm
- Perform any other duties as instructed by superiors
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor degree holders in Agricultural Engineering/Irrigation Engineering from any reputable training institution
- Must have experience in farms designing, layouts, irrigation technology installations, greenhouses constructions and applications of modern agricultural technologies.
- Flexibility, initiative, good communication and commercial awareness
- Willingness to work overtime as required
Duties:
- Providing information and advising farmers about their business
- Maintain, handle and operate all farm machineries
- Plan for customers Agri tech needs and implement the plans
- Farm designing and layouts, irrigation technology installation, greenhouses constructions, solar driers constructions
JOB TITLE: Sales and Marketing Officer – 2 positions
Qualifications:
- Must be a degree holder candidate of the following disciplines from any reputable training institution; Agricultural Economics/Agribusiness/International Trade
- At least two years of experience working with farmers/managing farm operations
- Flexibility, initiative, good communication and commercial awareness
- Willingness to work overtime as required
Duties:
- Making sales and creating robust marketing plans to win new markets and product development
- Creating plans for acquiring new customers and retaining them
- Analyze and create a plan for engaging the target market
- Demonstrates superior time management skills and meets sales deadline
JOB TITLE: Office Secretary – 1 position
Qualifications:
- Holder of at least Diploma/certificate in Full secretary
- At least 2 years of working as a secretary
- Computer literacy
Duties:
- Enhances effectiveness by providing information management support.
- Completes requests by greeting customers, in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries.
- Prepares reports by collecting information.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
JOB TITLE: Farm Manager – 3 positions
NB: Experience in cereals and horticultural production is an added advantage
Qualifications:
- Must possess a diploma/certificate of the following disciplines from any reputable training institution; Horticulture/Agriculture General/Crops Science
- Must have at least two years of experience working with farmers/managing farm operations
- Additional courses in business management/administration is an added advantage
- Flexibility, initiative, good communication and commercial awareness
- Willingness to work overtime as required
Duties:
- Making and implementing production plans throughout the season
- Ensuring efficiency in farm operations through effective manpower management
- Properly keeping farm records
- Budgeting and maintaining accurate farm finances
- Training, instructing and supervising farm workers
- Organizing and maintaining farm equipment and machinery
- Ensuring seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and other supplies are regularly restocked
- Perform and supervise seed multiplications
